1535nm Eye-safe Erbium Laser

The ERDI LASER® series features diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers based on self-developed Er:Glass or Er³⁺/Yb³⁺ co-doped phosphate glass gain media. Using semiconductor laser diode pumping and passive Q-switching technology, they deliver stable, narrow-pulse laser output at 1535 nm, a Class 1 eye-safe wavelength. These lasers offer compact size, wide temperature tolerance (-40°C to +65°C), and shock resistance, making them ideal for integration into LiDAR systems, laser rangefinders, and electro-optical designators.

Comparison

Erbium glass lasers (Er:Glass), as the most widely adopted 1535 nm eye-safe laser technology, are categorized by ERDI TECH LTD into three types based on output energy and repetition rate: high-frequency lasers, low-energy lasers, and high-energy lasers.
